This semi private Florida Country Club is run by Club Corp. It features a nice course, a nice facility, a challenging layout and usually the conditions are very good. The membership is broad and friendly. If a social environment is important to you, this is the place to be. It has excellent dining and banquet facilities and a very full social calendar.

Debary Florida Golf Community
This beautiful community offers homes with barrel tiled roofs (unique in the area). Be aware, however, that several areas flooded several years back during heavy rains. New pumps have alleviated concerns for the future.

The knock against this course is that the developer put the houses too close to the golf holes. Even though there are buffers between back yards and fairways, it doesn’t work that well. The fairways pinch in quite a bit as a result. If you hit it a bit sideways it’s lost or out of bounds. You are likely to be out of bounds on both sides of several holes way more often than is supposed to happen. Locals have begun to affectionately call Debary the “bowling alley” - you’re either in the alley or in the gutter.
